Vote to Name West Side Nut Club the Best in America Again
If you’ve lived in Evansville or anywhere in the Tri-State for very long, there’s a pretty good chance the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is one of those traditions you look forward to every year. And now, our beloved Fall Festival is getting another chance to show the rest of the country why Evansville does October better than just about anybody.
Evansville's Fall Festival Is Up for Another National Title
The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival once again has the chance to be named the Best Fall Festival in America with the USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards. It's up to us to make that happen!
Why the Fall Festival Is So Popular
For more than 100 years, the festival has taken over West Franklin Street during the first full week of October. Each year, roughly 200,000 people make their way to the West Side for a week filled with carnival rides, live entertainment, parades, talent competitions and, of course, more than 100 food booths serving up some of the most delicious food you’ll find anywhere.
Those food booths, by the way, aren’t just there to satisfy your deep-fried cravings. They’re operated by local nonprofit organizations, helping raise money for causes and groups throughout our community.
Help the Fall Festival Win for the Fourth Year in a Row!
The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival has won the vote for the last three years, and is hoping to make it four in a row in 2026!
This year, 20 fall festivals from across the country have been nominated, and voting is officially underway.

According to USA Today, the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival attracts more than 200,000 people each year, making it one of the largest street festivals in the United States. They also highlighted the festival’s free live entertainment, carnival rides, food booths, talent competitions, and massive fall parade.
