Illinois has had many dust storms over the years which have created big problems and that happened again on Friday as an apocalyptic event shut down much of the state and many videos show what it was like.
There's a new video which was just shared on the Illinois sub-Reddit showing the dust storm as it began to impact the Chicagoland area.

Finally, there's crazy footage of the dust storm as viewed by satellites which showed it overwhelming the state.
NBC 5 in Chicago reported that the dust storm caused the Illinois State Police to issue advisories for more than a dozen roadways urging drivers not to travel until the storm had passed.
