You’re Invited: INDOT Hosting Hiring Events for Winter 2024-2025 Seasonal Help
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will be hosting hiring events statewide as they search for qualified individuals for seasonal, winter help.
INDOT Is Preparing for Winter Road Conditions
Whether we're ready to think about winter weather or not, INDOT is and they are preparing now to keep our roads ready across Indiana. Part of that preparation includes building a qualified and dedicated team.
Hiring for Temporary Winter Seasonal Positions
The winter seasonal positions will work from November 2024 into early March, 2025. INDOT will host hiring events for winter seasonal help at twelve locations across the Hoosier State.
Pay Starts at $21 Per Hour
Pay for the winter seasonal jobs with INDOT start at $21 per hour for full-time operations positions, and $25 per hour for snowplow-only operations. The snow-plow only roles are on-call positions.
CDL Required For These Positions
You do have to posses a valid CDL to be considered for both the full-time, and the on-call positions.
Job duties for full-time seasonal positions include performing general highway and traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal and other duties related to winter operations. A valid CDL is required to be considered for full-time or on-call positions.
Twelve Hiring Events Across Indiana
Those interested in any of the twelve hiring events do not need to register in advance prior to attending. INDOT will hold interviews on site the same day. Additionally, members of the INDOT team will be on hand to answer questions and share additional information with prospective candidates.
