Spring Mill State Park

Located in Mitchell, Indiana is Spring Mill State Park.  It's about an hour and 45 minutes from Evansville, so it's not a far drive at all. Perfect for a day trip, or to go spend the weekend.  Plus there's SO MUCH to do around Spring Mill State Park.

From the Pioneer Village to the nature center, to the caves there's so much to see and do around Spring Mill State Park.  You could easily make a day trip to Spring Mill State Park or camp for a whole weekend and never run out of things to do. This weekend Spring Mill State Park is celebrating the holiday season with two events, Holiday in the Village, and Holiday Lights in the Campground.

Holiday in The Village & Holiday Lights in the Campground

Spring Mill State Park's Holiday in the Village event will take place from 5 to 9 PM on Friday, December 2nd, and from 1 to 9  PM on Saturday, December 3rd.  The event will take place in their Pioneer Village, complete with live music, cookies, and even Santa Claus himself!

After seeing Santa and enjoying some live music you can take a drive through Spring Mill State Parks Holiday Lights in the Campground.  The Holiday Lights will take place from 6 PM to 9:45 PM each night, and is $7 per vehicle. There are a bunch of campsites all lit up for Christmas, and you can even vote for your favorite!

We are looking forward to seeing you this weekend for Holiday in the Village and Holiday Lights in the Campground! Check out the information below for event details. Please be aware that due to high volumes of vehicles coming into the park on Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd, we will not sell permits, licenses, gift cards, or 2023 park passes after 4pm on these two days. Thank you for helping us keep our main entrance flowing, so everyone can get in and enjoy the events!
