Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire

The Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire is a non-profit dedicated to educating children about life in medieval times, with a modern twist.

Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire (SIRF) is a 501c3 dedicated to children's Education. Our goal is to give scholarships to local schools to graduating Seniors who wish to further their education in Arts & Entertainment. We pride ourselves in education by demonstrations of the old world ways with a new twist. Our faires are the income for our 501c3.

In May they are hosting two events at a castle in Indiana that you won't want to miss!

Fantasy Weekend and Pirate Weekend

In May the Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire is hosting two events on two different weekends.  The first event is the Fantasy Weekend taking place May 13th through 14th.  The second event is the Pirate Weekend taking place May 20th through 21st.  The events are family-friendly, and all ages are welcome.  The coolest part?  Both of these special-themed weekends will take place at the Birdsell Castle, a REAL castle in southern Indiana!

Prepare thyself for your Fairytale Fantasy coming to life in our 15th Century Castle! Rub elbows with Peasants, Pirates, Vikings, Faeries, Princess, Duke and Duchess, the Queen and thou may even be Knighted by the King!  Stroll through our village filled with renaissance entertainment, food & drink and our unique artisan market! Come and behold the magnificent festival fit for Royalty!
