In his Sunday afternoon address to the Commonwealth, Governor Andy Beshear gave the latest Kentucky case total and addressed, among other things, golf courses and state parks.

As of Sunday afternoon, Kentucky can report 45 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 439.

That's less than half of yesterday's new-case total.

The governor also noted that there were gatherings witnessed at certain Kentucky golf courses that violate the CDC's social distancing guidelines.

Beshear said he does NOT want to close golf courses and state parks, so they will be policed in order to keep social distancing maintained.
