Got Your Transponder Yet?

I had a buddy just call me with something he thought was very newsworthy, or maybe blog worthy; but crazy nonetheless.

He was coming back from Mt. Vernon this morning and was stopped at the Mt. Vernon Bridge. He was told he needed a transponder in the window of his vehicle to cross the bridge and to put it in his window right away. He was then given a piece of paper that states you MUST have an account on your vehicle to cross the bridge in the future and your account must have a minimum of $25 in it.
