So I spent the past weekend packing up all my stuff, and moving it to another location. It sucked. But for one guy, moving got a hell of a lot sweeter.

Josh Ferrin recently purchased a home and was moving some stuff in, when he found $45,000 in the attic. After an initial scream that would make Richard Simmons cringe, I would've probably pocketed the money and kept my mouth shut.

Being the good boy scout he is, Ferrin of Bountiful, Utah, returned the money! The previous owner of the house has passed away last year, so Ferrin contacted the man's family and alerted them to the cash.

Ferrin says the reason for returning the money is simple,  “I don’t believe you get a chance very often to do something radically honest, to do something ridiculously awesome for someone else and that is a lesson I hope to teach to my children.”

So coming out as the hero, and me as the bastard, Ferrin earns his Good Citizen of the year award. Okay, I'm not that heartless. I would've found $50,000 and said it was $45,000. Now we know why I would've been left behind if the rapture would've happened this weekend.
