Expect Increased Impaired Driving Patrols Across Indiana Feb 28 – March 22

Indiana State Police will be increasing patrols over the next several weeks. Operation Pull Over will have troopers on the roads around Evansville, especially during the late-night and overnight hours, thanks to a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The goal of the initiative is to get impaired drivers off the road. Indiana State Troopers will also be setting up a sobriety checkpoint over the course of the three weeks as well, although the when and where have not been announced.

Your best bet, as always is to not drive under the influence and make a plan to have a safe ride home.
