Three 80s-Inspired Events Heading to Evansville

I think it's safe to say we all feel some type of nostalgia when it comes to the 80s, from the music to the television shows, to the colorful clothing, it's just such an iconic decade.   Well if you're missing the 80s, the Ford Center and Victory Theatre are bringing them back for three awesome events!

80s Night With the Evansville Thunderbolts

The first totally 80s-inspired event is 80s night with the Evansville Thunderbolts on February 25th!

Blast back to the past with nostalgia! You have the chance to win some cool prizes and a costume contest. Dress in your best 80’s theme! The Thunderbolts will wear a special 80’s themed jersey that will be auctioned off after the game. Special in-house band Atlas of the Dogs will be performing through the night!  They are the opening act for Hairball, performing at the Victory Theatre on Friday, March 3!   If you bought upcoming Hairball tickets from the Victory Theatre, show your proof of purchase to receive a $7 discounted ticket to the game.  Chuck a Pucks sold by Thompkins Middle School Girls Basketball team.

The second 80s-inspired event is coming up on March 3rd at the Victory Theatre, it's Hariball! Hairball puts on more than just a concert, they are known for putting on a full-scale arena-rock experience.

A band puts on a concert - Hairball puts on an event! Hairball is a Rock & Roll experience you won't soon forget. The lights, sound, smoke, fire, bombs, and screaming hoards of avid fans...to merely call it a concert would be like calling Mount Rushmore a roadside attraction!

Killer Queen: a Tribute to Queen at the Victory Theatre

And the third and final incredible throwback event will take place on March 20th, with Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen featuring Patrick Myers as Freddie Mercury. If you want to catch the closest thing to Queen themselves, then Killer Queen is definitely up your alley! They'll be performing all of your favorite Queen songs and Patrick Myers brings the legendary Freddie Mercury flair to the stage!
