Downtown Evansville Farmers Market Will Not Open in 2019

The sad news was announced earlier today.

One of my favorite parts of the Spring/Summer is the farmers markets! I love delicious fresh produce and getting fresh flowers. Unfortunately this year the Downtown Evansville Farmers Market won't be happening.

In a statement on their Facebook page they said:

Friends of the Market

The Downtown Evansville Farmers Market will not be open this coming 2019 season. We want to thank our many friends for supporting our market throughout the years. The Farmer's Market gave us not only another avenue for our livelihood, but also gave us the opportunity to acquire many new friends.  In the following years, we look forward to being of service to our many friends in a new downtown location.

while I'm sad to hear there won't be a farmer's market this year, it does sound like they have plans for the future.
