Odds are you already have these things in your medicine cabinet.

All my adult life I've wanted to be one of those DIY Moms that made cute things and had their stuff together. Unfortunately, all my home decor is store-bought and my kid eats mac and cheese at least twice a week. However, during the time of a global pandemic, I've had the time and the desire to look through Pinterest more often. I've been looking for new recipes to try and projects to do during all this down time. Turns out, I can be that DIY Mom, just in small doses.

While browsing for recipes, I came across a really simple hand sanitizer concoction that literally anyone can make. I've looked on store shelves each time I've went over the last couple weeks (which is a lot) and every single time the hand sanitizer is sold out. Now more than ever it's important to keep clean, so finding this sanitizer recipe came at the perfect time! It was super easy to make, and honestly I didn't even have to buy anything! I already had all the ingredients in my cabinet.

You'll need:
Rubbing Alcohol
Aloe Vera
Essential oil (optional for smell good)
Container to hold liquid

Combine:
2/3 cup 99% percent isopropyl or rubbing alcohol
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
5-10 drops of essential oil

THAT'S IT.

If it's been this easy to make sanitizer the whole time, I'm still baffled how the shelves at the stores keep clearing. If I were you, I'd be hitting up the medical isle instead!

Stay safe. Stay home. Wash your hands!
