Indiana Health Officials: Consumers Should Dispose of These Recalled Products Immediately
Indiana health officials are investigating after reports of people becoming ill after consuming products that have been recently recalled.
Diamond Shruumz Recall Nationwide
The recall was issued by the Diamond Shruumz for a number of the brand's products. Now the Food and Drug Administration is saying individuals should not "buy, sell, or serve" these products.
Indiana Department of Health Says Three Reported Illness in Hoosier State
The recalled Diamond Shruumz products include chocolate bars, cones, and gummies. The products are marketed as containing a "proprietary blend of mushrooms." According to a press release from the Indiana Department of Health, there have been 39 illnesses reported from 20 states, including three in Indiana. Of those 39, 23 of those cases have been hospitalized.

Symptoms Associated with Diamond Shruumz Recall Are Severe
A number of severe symptoms have been reported in people who have become ill after consuming products from the Diamond Shruumz brand.
People who became ill from eating Diamond Shruumz brand products reported a variety of severe symptoms including seizures, loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness, agitation, abnormal heart rates, changes in blood pressure, nausea, and vomiting.
Where Diamond Shruumz Products Were Sold
The products were sold online and in various retail locations across the country including gas stations, smoke shops, and other businesses that sell hemp and CBD products.
What To Do If You Have Consumed Diamond Shruumz Products
If you have consumed any of these products and have become ill, you are encouraged to seek medical treatment immediately. Additionally, you should contact the Indiana Poison Center to report symptoms and get additional information by calling 1-800-222-1222., and be certain to make Poison Control aware that you have recently consumed or ingested Diamond Shruumz brand chocolate bars, cones, or gummies.
