‘Cult of Chucky’ Will Be Released in Time for Halloween [VIDEO]

It's fear incarnate, a doll that comes to life and wants to kill you. Toys came to life in movies and TV before, but none were quite like Chucky. This Halloween, Chucky returns, because why not, in Cult of Chucky. Here's the first teaser trailer!

There's a catch, it won't be in theaters. Cult of Chucky will be a direct to DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital HD production. The film, which starts principal photography next week, will be unrated. I don't understand why it won't be in theaters, didn't we have to suffer through all those Saw sequels? My favorites are the original and Seed of Chucky.

Will you pay to see Cult of Chucky? I'm a little curious.
