Bigfoot Spotted in Daviess County, KY? Bluegrass Bigfoot Investigator Visits Daviess County Public Library for Event
Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Yeti, are a few names that refer to the huge man-ape creature capturing the attention of investigators all over the world. Some say it is just a mythological monster, but then how would they explain the real-life encounters had by hikers and hunters? Or that infamous image of a big hairy brown beast in blurry tabloid photos? In my mind, Bigfoot is the loveable gentle giant from Harry and the Hendersons.
Did you know that Bigfoot has even been spotted right here in Daviess County? It's been a while, but here is a video of West Louisville witness, Bobby May, recounting his experience with Bigfoot in 1983. His memory seems crystal clear to me.
The Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization has compiled hundreds of eyewitness accounts through videos, pictures, and audio. You can even submit a report if you have had a mysterious encounter in the woods that you think may have been the Bigfoot himself.
Somewhere else you can share stories and learn more about the crazy-haired cryptid is our very own Daviess County Public Library. This weekend, they are hosting one of the top Sasquatch scholars and the founder of The Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization, Charlie Raymond. He is also an investigator along with his team of folks whose combined experiences in forensics, sketch artistry, hiking, and tracking make them the top team in the region.
