It's the moment we all knew would happen eventually -- and, based on the immediacy of the news cycle and when late night shows are actually filmed, it's the moment most of us also knew was happening yesterday -- but 'Daily Show' host Jon Stewart has finally announced his retirement after seventeen years at the news desk. Stewart's show films in the late evenings in New York City, so the news that he had announced his imminent retirement during a taping last night hit the wire many hours before the show actually aired.

For his latest round of "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets," Jimmy Kimmel trotted out his most star-studded line-up of celebs yet, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Dunham, Gerard Butler, Ty Burrell, Bob Newhart, Britney Spears, Geena Davis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Scott Foley, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson (Ted Danson? who tweets mean things about Ted Danson?), John Stamos, Lisa Kudrow, and Adam Sandler. But he also rounded up the meanest collection of, well, #meantweets ever. These tweets are really mean, you guys!

When you've been in Hollywood as long as Michael Keaton has, you've probably seen a lot of weird stuff created by fans -- a lot of signs and strange drawings and maybe a wacky letter here and there -- and although that sounds a little off-putting, Keaton is into it. At least, he's into it when your fan art is good, as was the case with a 'Beetlejuice' tattoo he spotted during a late night shoot on his upcoming 'Birdman.'

Rumors of 'Bad Boys 3' have swirled for years -- the last we heard, it was looking for a writer, though there was no word if stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, and director Michael Bay would come back for another outing -- but it finally looks like things might be moving in the right direction. At least, if you think that Lawrence returning for more action is the right direction. (Hint: it is).

Every year, Comic-Con comes complete with some major surprises -- be it the announcement of an unexpected film or the reveal of a major piece of casting -- but rarely do such surprises involving rap superstars randomly popping on stage in the middle of a panel to sing their biggest hit alongside one of entertainment's most beloved leading men. In what has to be a first-time event, Biz Markie interrupted the 'Book of Life' panel to jam out to his classic jam, "Just A Friend," and was then...joined by star Channing Tatum?

If it's Saturday at Comic-Con, it's time for the big guns to come out, and Warner Bros. has done that with some serious style. The studio's panel opened with a big, bruising look at 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,' thanks to a new trailer (and more on that to come -- much more!), before director Zack Snyder trotted out stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot to greet their fans.

HBO's smash hit 'Game of Thrones' might make for some very serious television, what with all that blood and death and battling and poisoning and dirty political machinations, but that doesn't mean that the series is without its own special humor, even if it not all of it makes its way into the final product. Turns out, when it comes time to film the small screen version of the beloved George R.R. Martin book series, even 'Game of Thrones' can't get away from tongue-twisting misread lines, a few unplanned pratfalls, and some unexpected getting down.

You know the drill by now: a big star hits up a late night talk show to chat, laugh, maybe play a game, plug their latest project, and show a clip. It's a standard way to do things, but you know who doesn't care about standard ways of doing things? Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. And, really, who are we to argue with him?

'Jimmy Kimmel Live' host Jimmy Kimmel likes to have fun with his recurring "celebrities read mean tweets about themselves" segments, which always manage to be fun and strange and not too painful. Of course, if you know anything about Twitter trolls, you know that the tweets the Kimmel team picks are not nearly the meanest of the mean, they're just the right mix of rude and amusing. There are certainly much meaner tweets out there, and some celebrities actually want those.

'The Tonight Show' is down in Orlando, Florida, this week, camped out at the Universal Studios backlot for some road-tripping fun, and all the better to serve up some exciting sneak peeks at the theme park's newly expanded Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Jimmy Fallon decided to really get into the spirit of things, dragging his faithful announcer Steve Higgins over to Diagon Alley to pick out some shiny new wizarding wands from master wand shop Ollivanders.

Not sold on the rumored 'Star Wars: Episode 7' title, 'The Ancient Fear'? It's okay, you're not the only one; even director J.J. Abrams doesn't seem too excited to slap such a moniker on his first 'Star Wars' film (though, this is the guy who made a film called 'Star Trek Into Darkness,' so it certainly could be worse).

It's hard to imagine that anyone's partying technique would be too much for Prince's tastes; this is, after all, a man who sings about partying like it's 1999 and the sexiness of cheap thrift-store finds with equal adoration.
