I am originally from Hartford, Kentucky. I spent a lot of my early years tagging along with my Dad to various sporting events, so needless to say, I love sports! My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, football, and tennis. I love to play tennis whenever the weather permits. My favorite team bar none is the St. Louis Cardinals. I love TV way too much! A partial list of my favorite shows would include The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Bob's Burgers, American Horror Story, RuPaul's Drag Race, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Real Housewives of: New York City, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Orange County, Salt Lake City, Only Murders in the Building, you get the idea. My music taste is varied, I like k.d. lang, Lady GaGa, Reba, Dolly, Loretta, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams, John Prine, Madonna, Kate Bush, Radiohead, and lots more. My hobbies include reading, writing, spending time with my family and friends, and snapping Snapchat selfies with my niece Zoey. I started my broadcasting career in 1998 at Western Kentucky University and I have been involved in radio ever since.

I’ll Accept Ketchup as Fake Blood But Not Anywhere Else
This featured photo I found is strange. I will come clean, except for occasionally on a burger, I'm not a fan of ketchup. Do I have a past where I did dip my fries in ketchup? Of course, I do, but now I'm just a little creeped out by one of the world's most popular condiments.

Have you seen cicadas, their shells everywhere? I haven't seen a single one yet; but to be honest, I've been forgetting to look. As for their familiar buzzing, I've only heard them twice, and both times I was driving through Ohio County.
Dinosaurs Are Coming to Louisville Zoo Starting This Weekend
I don't know the exact point when everyone went crazy for dinosaurs, but for my generation, it happened with Jurassic Park in 1993. The bells and whistles and technology at the time to bring the prehistoric creatures to life were revolutionary. That technology in part is now on display with Dino Quest which will begin this Saturday at the Louisville Zoo.
