Evansville Nonprofit Urgently Needs Bottled Water Donations
A local organization that serves some of the most vulnerable people in the community is asking for help.
Aurora Evansville says it is critically low on bottled water, and at its current pace, supplies may not last through the week.
A Daily Need That Adds Up Quickly
Aurora Evansville provides services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability across Evansville and the Tri-State.
According to the organization, they are currently distributing around 100 bottles of water each day. With warmer temperatures and increased need, that number adds up fast.
Each year, Aurora serves approximately 500 men, women, and children, making access to basic necessities like clean drinking water a constant priority.

How You Can Help Right Now
The organization says the most effective way to help is by donating bottled water directly.
- Drop-off times: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- What's needed: Cases of bottled water
For those who prefer to give financially, donations can also be made through Venmo @AuroraEvansville
Why This Matters
As temperatures rise, access to water becomes more than just a convenience. It's a health and safety issue.
For people without reliable shelter or access to cooling, staying hydrated can make a significant difference in preventing heat-related illness.
A Small Donation Can Go A Long Way
A single case of water may not seem like much, but when the need is this consistent, every contribution helps extend those supplies.
For Aurora Evansville, meeting the daily need depends on the community stepping in when resources run low.
