5 Movies For the 4th Of July!

The movies I am listing below either have something to do with the 4th of July holiday directly or indirectly. They definitely have some sense of patriotism or merely use the 4th of July as a backdrop for the story. I love all these movies and I listed them in no particular order.

Independence Day 

Aliens invade an Humans fight back.  Heavy duty dose of patriotism and a breakthrough hit for Will Smith

Jaws

It's 4th of July Weekend in the small New England coastal town of Amity.  Introduce great white shark to the mix and hell breaks loose.

Air Force One 

Here's one that made the list for sheer patriotic purposes.  The President's plane is hi-jacked with his family aboard.  The President doesn't take this lying down!

Team America:World Police

Team America binds together to fight terrorists, celebrities and more.  The movie's title song is priceless.

Born On the 4th Of July

The Story of Ron Kovic.  A Vet paralyzed during the Vietnam War returns home and turns anti-war after feeling like he was dumped on by his country.
