The Most Creative Use Of Chalk I’ve Ever Seen [Video]

Just once in my life I'd like to be this creative. Not only to be creative enough to come up with the idea, but to also be capable enough to make it a reality.

Maybe I'm really dating myself here...but when I see a video like this and I think two things. 1) How does one even begin to put together a video like this? 2) Who in the world has enough time to make a video like this? The answer to question 1 probably answers question 2 too.

This is where my ignorance and my lack of technical savvy are really on display. To me, a project like this looks like it would take forever to put together. Not only to shoot it in real life, but to also add all of the effects in "post". The truth is that it probably doesn't take that long at all...if you know what the hell you're doing. I do not. But there probably isn't a 13-year old out there that doesn't have at least a basic idea of how this type of video is created.

So instead of getting frustrated and bummed out because I feel so damn old and incompetant, I instead simply enjoy the video and marvel at the wizardry on display. And to think that it all started with sidewalk chalk.
