Back in 1962, an IBM 704 became the first computer to sing when it was programmed to hum the melody of “Daisy Bell” (aka, Bicycle Built for Two) — providing a bit of inspiration to Stanley Kubrick (and lending the song an unshakably creepy vibe ever since).
