Sandman’s Spring Horror Movie Preview “Almost Human”

You ever watch a horror movie and hear country music in the soundtrack, or Top 40 pop or R&B?  F*** No!  That's because Rock and Horror go hand in hand.  We know that you rock, after all, you're on a rock station website...so I figure there's a good chance you make like scary stuff too.  So I want to preview one of several movies coming out this Spring in the Horror genre.

After successful screenings in Toronto at TIFF, Sitges in Spain and Beyond Fest in Los Angeles, 'Almost Human' is getting a Spring release courtesy of IFC Midnight. Written & directed by Joe Begos and starring Graham Skipper ('Re-Animator: The Musical'), Josh Ethier (who also produced & edited the film) and Vanessa Leigh, I've been anticipating this alien abduction/slasher hybrid ever since I read the very first review of it. "Almost Human" has 80's style horror sensabilities and Gore galore!  What's not to like?  Look for this film more likely on your pay-per0view channel or on DVD/Blue Ray rather than a theatrical release.  Note, there are scenes of explicit violence in the trailer.  Doesn't that make you want to watch it more than ever now?
