See What Sound Looks Like [VIDEO]

You can't see sound with the human eye, but with some science and a camera, you can actually see what sound looks like.

We all know what an object looks like when it makes a sound, but what exactly does that sound look like? I am a total nerd when it comes to things involving science, and when you add in that I work in an industry based around sound, I was really excited to check out this video from NPR illustrating just what we hear looks like. Even though we now know what sound looks like, the age old question about the tree falling in the woods still remains to be answered.
