Coming off the recent 4th of July holiday, depending on where you live, you can still hear the occasional ring of fireworks being set off.  To me personally, it's too much.  I live in an area near U o E and it seems like the fireworks start in late June and run well past the 4th of July.  Last night, The Evansville City Council discussed passing an ordinance limiting the number of days that city residents can set off fireworks.  Currently, according to a report filed by our news partners at Eyewitness News, you can currently set of fireworks in the city limits June 29 and 30, July 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Folks can use fireworks between the hours of 10 a.m. and midnight on July 4.  The Council is considering limiting it to 3 or 4 days leading up to July 4th.  What do you think?  Too little, or is the ordinance fine the way it is?   Share your opinion in my Poll Topic Tuesday below.
