Recently I was invited over to Fox 44 to get a first look at some of the new Fall programming. One show that I got to watch was “Terra Nova”. Produced by Steven Spielberg “Terra Nova” follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149, the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped and overcrowded, with the majority of plant and animal life extinct. The future of mankind is in jeopardy, and its only hope for survival is in the distant past.

When scientists at the FERMI Particle Accelerator unexpectedly discovered a fracture in time that made it possible to construct a portal into primeval history, the bold notion was born to resettle humanity in the past - a second chance to rebuild civilization and get it right this time.

I don’t want to go into much more detail, because I want you to discover ‘Terra Nova” for yourself. I can tell you this however. Being a Steven Spielberg says a lot in itself. The man is a legend and most everything he has touched has turned to gold. The production values, script and special effects of “Terra Nova” are of a very high quality, especially for a weekly television show. It reminded me a little of ‘Jurassic Park”, but that’s a good thing right? “Terra Nova” is for the whole family. There’s nothing that will offend or be unsuitable for the family. Trust me, I’ve made a radio career out of being unsuitable for the family! Catch this brand new Fox show, on the new Foxx 44 beginning Monday September 26th at 7pm central.   Check out the trailer for "Terra Nova" I've attached.
