It seems each and every day, there's a story in the news about somebody that's strung out on meth doing somethhing ridculous. Ridiculous in this case does not equal amusing. Tuesday night, a traffic stop lead sheriff's deputies on a chase through Evansville's Westside. The driver got away after allegedly throwing meth-making ingredients out of the car window. The perp got away and now authorities need your help in finding this dumbass.

Tuesday afternoon, sheriff's deputies performed a traffic stop against Jeffery Eugene Peaugh of Evansville. What officers didn't know at the time; Peaugh allegedly had meth making ingredients in the car he was driving.

Peaugh had already handed the deputy his drivers license and registration for the vehicle, before he fled. Can I call him a dumbass again please?  Thank you.

The police chase didn't last long. Officers say the suspect bailed out of the car while it was still moving.

The car ended up crashing in to the side of a house there on Cave Avenue and he fled from there. If you have any information about where this dude may be hiding out call the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office.

Good news is, officers with the joint drug task force are now working on a new unit, devoted directly to targeting meth.
