Judas Priest's latest album 'Redeemer of Souls' has received a lot of accolades, and those positive reviews are translating into sales. The album sold 33,000 copies to debut at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 album chart, the highest debut of their 40-plus-year career. In Canada, the disc debuts at No. 5, also a first for the band.

Although they've had several platinum and gold albums over the years, Judas Priest's previous highest charting album was 2008's 'Nostradamus,' which debuted at No. 11. Their best selling record, 1982's double platinum 'Screaming for Vengeance,' peaked at No. 17.

Judas Priest had previously announced a North American tour with Steel Panther in support of 'Redeemer of Souls' that launches in October, and have now added additional dates.

Chelsea Grin haven't been around nearly as long as Priest, but their latest album is also their most successful so far. 'Ashes to Ashes' debuts at No. 27 on the Billboard 200. That's a big step up from 2011's 'My Damnation,' which entered at No. 64. They did even better on some other charts, coming in at No. 4 at Hard Music and No. 8 at Rock album tallies.

Also hitting the Billboard 200 this week is Starset. Powered by the top 10 rock single 'My Demons,' the band's debut album 'Transmissions' debuts at No. 49. In case you're wondering, this week's No. 1 album was singer/songwriter Sia's '1000 Forms of Fear.'
