Indiana Ranks 3rd in the One Food Trend that Guy Fieri is Over

The Hoosier State has claimed the prestigious third place in the list of the Best States for Competitive Eating in 2023. But is this really the ranking we want?

Joey Chesnutt is probably the most famous competitive eater in the world. he holds over fifty different food challenge records. He also happens to be from Westfield, Indiana, which is a big reason that Indiana ranks third in competitive eating.

One of the most popular eating competitions in Evansville, Indiana can be found at Wayback Burgers. It's called the Nine Patty Burger Challenge, and if you can finish it, you are named a Titan of Patty Destruction.

Perhaps another factor in Indiana's high ranking this year is the number of crazy food challenges we tried at the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival.

Competitive Eating Can be Dangerous

Food challenges are fun to watch, but they can be dangerous and do damage to your body. I can tell you that the cotton candy-eating contest was not what I thought it was going to be. The cotton candy did not dissolve in my mouth, and I probably could've choked. According to FoodChallenges.com, even the training process can be extremely hard on your stomach.
