Fans at the opening night of Guns N' Roses three-night stand at New York City's Madison Square Garden got a treat last night (Oct. 11) when the band brought out pop star Pink to join them for a song. The pop singer, known for such hits as "Get the Party Started," "Just Give Me a Reason" and has a new album out tomorrow, was absolutely beaming as she came out to join frontman Axl Rose for the coda of the acoustic track "Patience."

"We're gonna try somethin'," Rose says in the video above, just prior to the final part where the song shifts. "We're gonna bring a friend of ours out here. We haven't really tried this, we're just gonna do this off the cuff and see if it works. We're gonna bring Pink out, and she's gonna help us sing this."

Clad in a red leather jacket, Pink nailed the spot, dueting with Rose toward the end. Afterward, the latter again mentioned how it was all done off the cuff. Going by the mile wide smile he sported afterward, the spontaneity worked out well. The band thanked Pink afterward on Twitter, to which the singer had a priceless response.

Pink is the latest member of a small and exclusive club of artists who have gotten up onstage with GNR during their "Not in This Lifetime" tour. Only three others, Sebastian Bach, AC/DC's Angus Young and Rose Tattoo's Angry Anderson have shared the stage with the band in the 100-plus gigs since reuniting the classic lineup in April of 2016.

One person who probably won't be joining the band anytime soon in Vice President Mike Pence, whom Rose took to task this week when he left an NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday. Via his Twitter account, Rose thanked the White House for what he called a "$200,000 public relations stunt." The Guns singer and Pence are both from Indiana.

It was recently revealed that the grosses from Guns N' Roses 2017 North American "Not in This Lifetime" tour leg have now been totaled at $53 million.
