Father Of The Year

(Youtube)

One day in the future, one dad will have to explain to his daughter why he chose a foul ball over her.

In this footage from Fox Sports, a Dodger’s fan was seen holding his daughter up when a foul ball came near their seats. However, he decided that he would rather catch the ball himself. In the split second decision he dropped his kid like an empty beer cup.

Should we be surprised that this happens? On a plane they always tell you to put on your oxygen mask first, then put on your child’s. So the ‘me’ first mentality is there.

But he didn’t even catch the ball, and this footage is now all over Youtube. Although the kid wasn’t hurt, the long term damage is done. Good luck trying to explain that to your kid, buddy.
