Craigslist, Backpage and Topix – The Underbelly of Evansville

Recently while looking on the internet, doing research for the next Underbelly installment, I ran across some stuff on Craigslist that startled me a bit.  Sure the site is great for buying and selling stuff (Buyer Beware), but it also has a very raunchy adult section that anyone can view simply by clicking "YES" when asked if you're over 18. Pretty easy entries to some graphic language and photos.  I've picked some really tame by comparison posts to share with you from the "Escorts" section of Evansville Craigslist. Check these out.

Yes, scummy enough, but to me the worst site that can be commented on locally is Topix.com.  This website is full of cowards who talk sh*t about everyone and everything while being able to do it anonymously. Lies, rumor and innuendo are part of Topix posts that can truly effect someone's life.  I've never been a subject of posts on this site, but after writing this I'm sure some jackwad will make up something about me and post it.  Anyway, I picked some posts without using people's names that were the subject of the post, mainly because I doubt if it's true. So here's some of tamer stuff from Topix.
