Lamb of God's future remains murky while the remainder of Randy Blythe's manslaughter trial looms, but the band is making sure to think positively, and that includes booking their first show of 2013 in hopes that their frontman will eventually be cleared of charges. The band revealed in a tweet their participation in the 2013 Resurrection Festival in Spain this August.
To me, one of the coolest things about music is that some songs are special to you because of the lyrics and the message, and some songs you love just because of the music itself. Volbeat falls into the latter for me. I can't tell what the hell he's saying, but I don't care because it rocks.
I thought I might do something kind of in honor of Sandman's Phone Topic Tuesday today. The topic today is basically "who do you think is the biggest movie badass?" The majority of the answers have been guys...Jason Statham, Bruce Willis and the like. But what about the ladies? Then I found this mashup.
We've all seen videos of poor bastards getting their hearts broken with a rejected marriage proposal. I usually have to stop and ask myself if the video is legit or a setup to get some laughs. Let me tell you now, this video is a prank...and it's good for a laugh, especially on V-Day.
It amazes me sometimes how something so stupid (yet funny) can gain so much attention online, and how quickly a video, or videos, can go viral. The 'Harlem Shake', without a doubt, has reached viral status.
Happy Valentine's Day, I guess. Today is a day for lovers...for husbands to scramble for a last-minute gift...for wives to try and act not pissed at the aforementioned husband...for school kids to exchange cards and candy (and hopefully nothing else). But what about those who don't have that special someone? What do they do on V-Day?
