Brats and Beer: Evansville’s Germania Maennerchor Volksfest Is Next Week!

Volksfest is back!  Founded at the turn of the century as an influx of German immigrants settled in Evansville, Germania Mannerchor remains the city's oldest surviving German singing club. Join the members as they celebrate Deutsch heritage with dancing, strong brews, authentic food and music.

The Beer garden will be filled with people enjoying Kraut, sausages, bands and beer.. You'll find all that and laderhosen, too! The Germania Mannerchor Volksfest is an Evansville tradition!  it kicks off on Thursday Aug. 1st at 11am and runs through Midnight Saturday night August 3rd.  Dining is available inside and outside and Volksfest is open for lunch as well for all ages, but after 2pm you must be 21 and up to enter.  Germania Mannechor is located at 916 North Fulton Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47710.
