Melissa Awesome
I'm Melissa Awesome, I was born and raised right here in the tri-state! Growing up I was always in trouble for talking in school, and have been referred to by many of my teachers as a "social butterfly" throw that in with my love of all things music, and I guess working in radio is right up my ally. I'm your typical 20-something year old going to college, and enjoying life. I'm a huge Chicago Cubs fan, and when I'm not catching Cubs games, I'm watching The Walking Dead, Grey's Anatomy, Breaking Bad, and Sons of Anarchy (Netflix has created a monster). I began interning for our sister station 103GBF back in 2008, and I fell in love with radio. Which I guess worked out because they haven't been able to get rid of me yet! You can catch me on air weeknights from 6-11 and Saturday nights 8-midnight!
