Are You Into Body Modification?

I am an extrovert...an attention seeker.  I think that's what has driven me to get the over 50 tattoos that I have and the numerous piercings that I have, mostly above the shoulders.   It all started when I played in a band in the very early 80's.  I went to the mall and got my ears pierced, both ears.  That was a bit radical for this area at the time.  Since there were no tattoo parlors in town in those days, you'd see many a long haired rocker going to the mall to get pierced with the gun, which we all now know is not the preferred way to pierce.   People in the tattoo and piercing profession have to come to be some of my best friends.  I'm proud to be part of this subculture, even though my look is polarizing to some.  For instance, I just did an interview with a Doctor, who asked me if I'd like him to remove those pieces of shrapnel in my face!  But again, I put them there for a reason.  They are part of the lifestyle I lead.  Check 'em out and while you're at it, tell me about your tats/piercings or body modifications you may have.
