Going back to school is no fun. But these movies are.

I will make any excuse to have a movie marathon. Therefore, "Back to School" is a great excuse to dust off these classics and re-live them again. Whether it's by yourself, or introducing them to a new generation.

(In no particular order)

1.  Fast Times at Ridgemont High

2. Ferris Bueller's Day Off

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it."

3. Rock N Roll High School

"Riff Randall. Rock n' roller."

4. Risky Business

5. Say Anything

6. Carrie

And you thought YOUR high school experience was a nightmare...

7. Easy A

True, there are have been a lot of 'high school' movies that have come out in the last 10-15 years. But this one is one of my favorites because it acknowledges all 1980's high school movie tropes and classic scenes.

Also, it's just really good.

8. Clueless

9. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

"Be excellent to teach other, and party on, dudes!"

10. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Before the show...there was the movie that started it all.

11. Napoleon Dynamite

12. The Breakfast Club

Honestly, almost ALL John Hughes films are "high school classics". But this one is THE classic.
