Regionals then semi state this weekend, it's getting down to the survivors. Vote for your favorite player now until 3 p.m. Friday, when we'll announce the winner in voting.

It starts up all over again next Monday.  If you vote too often the poll mechanism will set up a 'cool down' mode for you, keeping you from voting for an hour.

Here are the Studs from last Friday:

  • Da’Ziaun Sargent of Reitz gained 154 yards on 24 attempts, including two touchdowns, in the visiting Panthers’ 52-7 romp over Harrison
  • Dayne Keller of Castle.  Keller was 19-for-24 passing for 279 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions in Castle’s 42-28 victory over host Floyd Central in the 5A Sectional 16 championship game.
  • Will Warren QB of Owensboro Catholic completed all eight of his pass attempts in the first half and threw for four touchdowns. as Catholic beat Webster County 70-0
  • Michael Lindauer of Memorial ran for a 67 yard touchdown early, to set the tone for The Tigers blowout of Sullivan 63-35
  • Chase Rheinlander of Mater Dei and the offense kept the Wildcats within striking distance for most of the second half. Mater Dei got within one score three different times. Monrovia was too much as they defeated 35-28, in the Class 2A Regionals
