2012 marks the 25th year that the station at 103.1 FM has been known as 103GBF.  I was there on day one back when the late Larry Aiken salvaged the station from a bunch of people who didn't know what the hell they were doing.  Larry did and so did I.  Let's rock.  I've never looked back.  Been on 103GBF all this time, with lots of great and memorable co workers.  DJ's like Turner Watson, Tony Couch and for the last 13 years or so Bobby G and Slick Nick.   We struggle with a very poor signal, no one knows that better than I, as I also worked previously for KC103, which was a rock station also at 103.1 back in the early 80's.  We thank you for suffering through a station that's very hard to pick up sometimes.  That's whay we stream online and offer the RadioPup app for your smart phone.  In the past 25 years, we've done 25 Ski Day On The Ohio Events,  tons of Thong Thursdays and Damn Loud Rock Shows.  Given away who knows how much cash and trips to lucky winners.  We've gone through a van, two Hummers and now a brand new Ford F-150 we call the 103GBF-150.  We plan on next year being the best yet.  If you can't keep getting better, why continue.  We're going to bring rock concerts back to town and do some crazy and exciting things for our 25th anniversary year.  I personally want to thank you, for listening, for showing up to our events, for putting our sticker on your bumper, for wearing our t-shirts...thank you for everything.  Without you, there woruld be nothing.  Happy New Year.  Here's to a great 2012!   Enjoy some pics from the past...
