World Record Set at 2012 X Games [Video]

I'm not sure if there's anything that makes me feel older each year than watching the X Games. I have no clue what they're talking about...they might as well be speaking Japanese. But I do know that I enjoy watching it and I appreciate the skill and guts those folks have. But this year, it wasn't a bike or skateboard that took center stage though.

Over the weekend, two rally cars did something that you normally only see in the movies...they did an honest to goodness loop to loop. The drivers are Tanner Faust and Greg Tracy from Team Hot Wheels. And the folks from Hot Wheels built a full size, six-story double vertical loop followed by a small jump. Both men entered the loop and nailed the gravity defying stunt.

To say it was quite impressive is a bit of an understatement.
