I remember heating "Runaway Train" from Soul Asylum for the first time. I was an angsty pre-teen in a really disfunctional home and it was the first time that I can remember where a piece of music on the radio seemed to resonate deeply with me. Of course, I didn't fully understand the lyrics at that time like I do now as an adult, but I remember feeling like someone somewhere understood how I felt but couldn't articulate.

I am really looking forward to seeing Soul Asylum live with Local H. The two bands will take the stage at the Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Tickets are now on sale at the Old National Plaza Box Office and through Ticketmaster.com here.

Of course, if you do plan to attend the show, remember that just before the pandemic the clear bag policy went into place. This means that if you would normally bring a purse with you, you will need an approved clear bag.

Our new clear bag policy is geared to keep guests safe during large public events. Please arrive with a clear bag no larger than 13" x 13" in size.

The Old National Events Plaza does allow diaper bags inside the venue but they may be screened by security.

See Soul Asylm and Local H live at the Old National Events Plaza, Sunday, August 1, 2021. Get tickets now.
