If only political debates were this entertaining...I might actually watch them. Instead, no one from either side actually answers a question and I end up learning nothing new about the candidates. I bet I'm not the only one that thinks we might be better off with Will Ferrell running the country.

By now I'm sure that every American has seen a trailer or a clip from the new Ferrell/Galifianakis movie The Campaign (which hits theaters this Friday, August 9th). I did a post about it back in May. The two men are political opponents down in North Carolina. Even if you've never seen any footage from this particular movie, you can probably guess what type of shenanigans to expect.

I must say that I am impressed by the way these guys have promoted the movie. It's more than just making the rounds on the normal late night talk shows...of course they have those. They also get pretty creative about things. Recently the guys stopped by Wrigley Field in Chicago to throw out the first pitch before a Cubs game and introduce the Cubs starting lineup (you can see the video below). And now they've created this faux debate on Funny or Die. As expected, Ferrell and Galifianakis make an ass out of themselves, and make me laugh in the process. Check it out.
