Where To Shop Online When You’re a Nerd On a Budget

"Cool" nerd apparel is hard to come by. Local stores think slapping a movie logo on a t-shirt serves as their "nerd quota of the month" and I'm tired of it! And if you DO happen to find something on the web you like, it costs an arm and a leg! So, Chynna is here to share with you some of her favorite "nerdy" clothing websites that won't break the bank.

I've ranked these from LEAST to MOST expensive...because some of us are nerds on a budget...and some of us are nerds that, when we find the right item, our budget has NO bounds.

#1. Once Upon a Tee

Now, since I'm posting this on a Sunday, unfortunately, the first two tees are probably gone by the time you see this. The selection of tees change EVERY WEEK starting on Monday at noon. But the one thing that doesn't change? All the shirts are $12.

UNLESS shirts are lucky enough to get put in "the vault". (The PRIME shirt is in the vault if you want it...) If a shirt design gets put in "the vault" you can get it past the one week time marker. But you never know if a shirt will make it into "the vault", and "vault" shirts are $15.

#2. Shirt Woot!

Not only are these shirts really cool, they're all under $15. And you can even submit your own tee designs.

#3. Look Human

These shirts are a little more expensive (in the $20-$30 range) but they are SO GOOD. I love looking through this website just to read the shirts. WORD OF WARNING: Though most of them are hilarious and cute, not all of them are PG. They aren't afraid to print the f-bomb every once in a while. Which is probably why I like them so much...

This site has EVERYTHING.

Also, a lot of guys go to this site and think "UGH! This is all girl stuff!" Well...kinda...yeah. BUT all of the shirts are unisex. So, guys, if you see a shirt you like but the advertised picture that is pink, click the link to the shirt! Almost all of them come in a variety of styles AND colors. So if you see a shirt you like but it's a pink women's pullover, click it, and get it as a black t-shirt. BOOM. Masculinity saved, you fragile creature.

#4. Hot Topic

"Isn't that the goth store???" When was the last time you were in Hot Topic? 2003??? They are very nerd oriented now. "Nerd" IS the hot topic.

Tv shows. Movies. Anime. Pop Vinyl Figures. Comics. Video Games. EVEN SPORTS.

Now, they have other sports team/Star Wars shirts...but no IU. I KNOW! I KNOW! So, to appease both sides, I found an IU/Star Wars shirt elsewhere JUST FOR YOU IU FANS.

#5. Think Geek

Everything on this site ranges from "Eh, I don't know if I want to pay THAT much for that..." to "I would give my entire life savings to own that..."

And I tried to pick out a few items to show you...but I realized that I was practically saving photos for EVERY item...So you just need to click the link and experience this site for yourself.
