Violent delights have violent ends, and that’s doubly-true for football fans. So it is, that Westworld might be getting in on the big game with its first formal Season 2 trailer; hinted at in a cryptic new promo for the Delos corporation.

HBO’s Westworld Twitter account picked up the series’ long-dormant coding promos with a brief new spot of the park’s computer systems going haywire. There’s no footage to speak of, but cries for help from inside the park are quickly overridden by descriptions of the upcoming “Journey Into Night” narrative, with macabre hints that “Ford took it in stride. Restructure/management downsizing on track.”

Best of all – if you follow the link in the actual tweet, you’ll find yourself at the Delos corporate alert page, whose latest entry suggests an imminent presentation in “Minneapolis” (where Sunday’s Super Bowl LII will be held):

As you all know, our parks have been more popular than ever, and we have you to thank for that. Your work and innovation has certified Delos Destinations as the premiere luxury brand for entertainment.

But we cannot stop there. Our current market testing tells us that now, more than ever, people are looking to escape their reality. With this strategy in mind, we are expanding our outreach campaign, starting with boots on the ground in Minneapolis. We are proud to announce a rebrand years in the making, placing Delos Destinations at the forefront of a new age. There has never been a better time to live without limits.

There will be a creative show-and-tell for senior leadership this week—we’ve heard from everyone except Westworld. We are aware that Journey into Night celebrations are currently taking place, but all applicable executives at Westworld, please respond to the calendar invite immediately. Normal operations must continue.

Entertainment Weekly also appears to have confirmed a trailer along with a new photo:

Elsewhere of Westworld Season 2, the spring “Journey Into Night” is expected to answer practical questions about the park, potentially even a date for the show’s setting. Ed Harris will be back to play Season 2 on “extreme mode,” as will his younger self and former friend, while Talulah Riley and Louis Herthum have been upped to series regular. We’ll also finally get answers on the mysterious “SW” park, and hopefully learn what became of poor Elsie and Stubbs. New additions include Leftovers alum Katja Herbers, Neil Jackson and American Gods star Jonathan Tucker, Vikings favorite Gustaf Skarsgard, Tyrant alum Fares Fares, Zahn McClarnon, Betty Gabriel and LOST star Hiroyuki Sanada.

We’ll find out for sure this Sunday, so stay tuned for the latest on Westworld Season 2.
