The coronavirus has forced several organizations to postpone or outright cancel events scheduled for the spring in an effort to keep the public safe, prevent the potential spread of the virus, and hopefully "flatten the curve." You can now add one more event to that growing list — the annual West Side Nut Club Easter Egg Hunt.

Nut Club Publicity Chairman, Jordan Raben announced the decision in a press release to local media outlets late Thursday evening. Raben noted this is the first time in the history of the decades-long event they've had to cancel, but know it's necessary in the interest of public safety.
