Baking Contest Planned in Southern Indiana to Benefit WCIP

Amateur bakers, grab your mixing bowls and get ready to show off your skills with the WCIP 2024 Bake-Off! No culinary skills, no problem! Grab a spectators ticket and take part in some fun with friends!

Amateur Bakers Go Head to Head in a Bake-Off For a Good Cause

Warrick County Indiana Pride will be hosting a private fundraising event on December 15, 2025, at Tricky's Brews & Bevs in Boonville, Indiana. The ticketed event will include a baking contest where amateur bakers will go head to head in a bake-off with three local judges. Their baked goods will be judged on not just taste but appearance as well! (Entries will not be cooked on site or served to the public at the event.)

How to Enter the Warrick County Indiana Pride 2023 Bake-Off

Those interested in entering their baked goods can you can visit the link here register and learn more about contest rules and guidelines. There is a $30 entry fee for contestants, and that fee does include entry to the event as a spectator as well. Some of the rules are below:

1. Contestants may be amateurs or Culinary Arts students. Professional chefs, cooks or businesses may not enter the contest. Entry fee is $30 and should be paid to the Warrick County Indiana Pride, Inc.

2. Each contestant may have only one entry for judging. 

3. Submissions must be home cooked (not store bought).

Don't Bake But Want to Attend? Grab a Spectator Ticket!

If you aren't much of a baker, but would like to attend the private event as a spectator, you can purchase tickets through the Tricky's website for $10 (+ a $1.65 service fee). Tricky's will have food and drinks available for purchase during the event.

A Fun Night at Tricky's in Boonville For a Great Cause

In addition to the baking contest, the fundraiser will include trivia, and there will be several amazing themed gift baskets that will be available for purchase as well. All of the proceeds from this private fundraising event will go back to benefit Warrick County Indiana Pride. Tricky's Brews and Bevs is located on the square in Boonville, Indiana.
