A state-wide Silver Alert has been issued in Southern Indiana for two young children last seen Thursday afternoon.

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a case involving missing children from Newburgh, Indiana.
The One and Three-Year-Olds Are Believed to Be In Danger
According to authorities in Warrick County, the two children, ages one and three, are believed to be in danger.

Last Seen in Newburgh, Thursday, April 24, 2025
One-year-old Zacari Owens and three-year-old Zy'ria Salas were last seen in Newburgh on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at approximately 2 pm CST.
The Children Were Last Seen With Their Mother
According to reports, the two children were last known to be in the company of their mother, 25-year-old Damyiah Owens. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes, and is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall.
Again, Authorities Believe the Missing Children to Be in Danger
There is a current case open against Owens in Warrick County that includes two felony counts of "Domestic Battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old." Warrick Superior Court records indicate that the court revoked Owens's bond earlier today, and has issued a warrant for her arrest.
