The 2015 Veterans Day Parade is Saturday in Downtown Evansville.  Below is info on the schedule of events. Below that is a Video of Garry Hisel, Parade co-chair, who brought his own military vehicle to our parking lot.

The co-Grand Marshal is the Indiana Patriot Guard for their support of veterans. The Indiana Patriot Guard Riders are a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. They have one thing in common besides motorcycles. They have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security including Fallen Military Heroes, First Responders and Honorably Discharged Veterans. They invite you to join them in showing respect, a motorcycle is optional.

12:00 Parade registration starts on NW 1st Street behind Ri Ra Irish Pub

12:00 to 2:00 Patriotic Souls perform in the parade line up area.

12:00 to 2:00 Parade line up and assembly

2:00 Signature Singers Perform at the Locust street Reviewing Stand Gina Moore to perform “God Bless the USA” Cassandra Waters to perform “For Freedom” Remarks from Mayor Winnecke

2:30 Parade starts with a howitzer firing.

Approximately 3:00 Short Ceremony at the locust street reviewing stand to honor our veterans

Approximately 4:00 end of parade.
