Vanderburgh Sheriff’s Office Now Hiring Confinement Officers
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office is looking for a few good people with a desire to protect and serve the residents of the County as Confinement Officers at the County Jail.
Confinement officers handle a number of duties around the jail facility including (obviously) making sure inmates behave themselves, transporting inmates to and from the courthouse for appearances, and making sure cells remain clean and safe.
The next round of testing is scheduled for May 18th at the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Training Room and is limited to the first 30 individuals who contact the Office. To reserve your spot, call 812-421-6203.
