Vanderburgh County Recycling Day Saturday March 9th

This Saturday, March 9th, the Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District will host a Recycling Day at the location of the old west side Walmart parking lot located on University Drive. According to the City of Evansville website, the recycling event will take place from 8am-12pm.

The following items will be accepted:

• Newspaper
• junk mail
• Cardboard
• magazines & catalogs
• Aluminum cans
• steel cans
• #1 - #7 plastic containers

They will not be accepting any styrofoam, plastic bags or glass containers and they ask that your acceptable items be cleaned and sorted. The next recycling event will take place Saturday, April 6th.
