The United States Census is still hiring for positions all over the country, including right here in the Tristate. While many of the positions have been filled, they are still taking applications. These temporary positions can easily be applied for online. Once every 10 years the census is taken and you can be a part of it. The US Census Bureau is doing their part to minimize the spread of Covid-19 by providing their employees with proper PPE as field work has resumed in some locations across the US.

 

The pay for the various positions varies by county and state and according to the website pay is as follows for several Tristate counties:

Vanderburgh County, Indiana: 
$20.50 - $22.50

Warrick County, Indiana: 
$22.50

Posey County, Indiana:
$22.50

* The pay rate above is for a census taker position. Census takers also receive reimbursement for work-related mileage and expenses, where applicable.

Perry County, Indiana:
Starting at $18.50

* The pay rate above is for a census taker position. Census takers also receive reimbursement for work-related mileage and expenses, where applicable.

Henderson County, Kentucky:
$17.00

* The pay rate above is for a census taker position. Census takers also receive reimbursement for work-related mileage and expenses, where applicable.

Davies County, Kentucky:
$16.50

* The pay rate above is for a census taker position. Census takers also receive reimbursement for work-related mileage and expenses, where applicable.
